What we collect
On the website: the company website, work email and competitors a visitor enters in the form. At checkout: name, email and billing details, which Stripe collects and stores; we hold the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, not the card. During the service: access credentials the client gives us, and the content and data needed to do the work.
Analytics
We run our own analytics (Pulse) that records page views, referrers and conversion goals per site. It is used to see how the site is doing and is not sold or shared.
How we use it
To answer an application, run the service, bill it, report on it and talk to the client. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Stripe (billing), the hosting and database providers that run the site and the service, Slack for the shared channel, and the model providers that process text while we draft pages. Each is bound by its own terms and only sees what it needs.
Cold email
We send cold emails to people at companies we think fit the service, using business contact data from data providers. Every email can be answered with a request to stop, which we honour at once and record so the address is not contacted again.
Retention
Applications and client data are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for the period after that needed for accounting. Opt-out records are kept permanently so they keep working.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by email to hello@saliencestrategy.com. We answer within 30 days.
